History

LUKOIL-Bulgaria Ltd. was established in 1998. The company began operating on the Bulgarian petroleum products market in 1999, when the first LUKOIL service stations were opened in the country’s major cities.
Within five years in the local market, the company expanded its service station network and entered the wholesale fuel trade, reaching more than 120 stations. In line with its strategy and long-term priorities, in 2003 the company launched fuel storage and logistics activities, and in 2004 it started importing and selling lubricants.
Today, LUKOIL-Bulgaria’s retail network continues to expand with new-format service stations and a modern chain of LUKOIL service stations, developed nationwide. LUKOIL-Bulgaria is among the leading companies in Bulgaria and is included in the “Top 100” ranking by the independent agency SeeNews. The company invests in the modernization of its infrastructure, in training and development of its team, and in projects related to safety, quality and environmental protection.
