In addition, LUKOIL Bulgaria EOOD supports the social development of the country through its own programme for philanthropy and support for culture and sport, developed in the spirit of national and universal human values that the Company follows.

As a result of the constructive social partnership with the Federation of Bulgarian Oil and Gas Workers "LUKOIL", stable traditions have been established in organizing cultural, sports and tourist events that contribute to the maintenance of employees' health and working capacity.

As an employer, LUKOIL Bulgaria EOOD provides a rich and diverse social package for its employees, including a number of benefits to support material and health status of the personnel, increasing motivation and corporate culture.

«LUKOIL Bulgaria» EOOD provided the necessary financial resources for the full provision of the needs of doctors and specialized teams of Military Medical Academy - Clinic of Infectious Diseases and Bulgarian Medical Union for the period of the declared emergency situation. The donation aims to support the efforts of doctors, who are currently at the forefront of the fight against the biggest pandemic that the country has faced in the last century.

 «As a socially responsible company, we join the common efforts to overcome as quickly as possible the extraordinary situation we are in. We show global respect for the work of Bulgarian doctors and fully support all the initiatives of the government and the National Operational Headquarters for measures to overcome the situation in the country», said Bulat Subaev, General Manager of LUKOIL Bulgaria.

    A new Collective Labour Agreement has been signed

    The General Manager of LUKOIL Bulgaria EOOD Bulat Subaev and the President of the Federation of Bulgarian Oil and Gas Workers "LUKOIL" Pavlin Vakovski signed a new Collective Labour Agreement, which entered into force on 1 July 2020. Despite the difficult situation in the country related to the spread of the coronavirus, both parties made every effort to preserve the social guarantees and improve the social benefits for the Company's employees.
    "By signing the new CLA, we at the management of LUKOIL Bulgaria continue our successful cooperation with our social partner. We are confident that our interaction will help maintain the normal work rhythm and achieve better economic results for the Company," said the General Manager of LUKOIL Bulgaria Bulat Subaev.
    "On behalf of all trade union members, I would like to express my gratitude to the management of LUKOIL Bulgaria that the Company not only preserves the jobs, but also takes care of its staff by supporting the social benefits, regardless of the difficult situation for all of us," said, in turn, the President of FTU "LUKOIL" Pavlin Vakovski. He stressed that the interaction between employer, employees and trade union will continue to be based on the principles of social partnership, trust, equality, responsibility and mutual respect of the parties in the social dialogue.

    Charity is an integral part of the corporate policy of the Company. It is provided through the "LUKOIL" fund established in 2000 and includes work in the following directions:

    • social support of employees and their families in solving hard everyday issues;

    • support of social homes for people in unequal position;

    • support of programmes and initiatives in the field of science and culture;

    • support of programmes and initiatives in the field of education and public health.

    Traditionally, LUKOIL Bulgaria EOOD provides significant support to Bulgarian sport, in the persons of the basketball teams PBC "Lukoil Academic" — Sofia — men and "Neftohimik 2010" — Burgas — women, the volleyball team "Neftohimik 2010" — Burgas — men, and SNC "BPK (children and youth school)".
